Job Description

As a Concrete Laborer, your responsibilities include setting the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth, and ensuring their proper alignment. You will be required to spread, level, and smooth concrete using various tools such as rake, shovel, hand/power trowel, hand/power screed and float. Your duties also involve producing a rough concrete surface using a broom and molding expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge. You will be responsible for cleaning chipped areas, using a wire brush, and feeling and observing the surface to determine if it is rough or uneven. Additionally, you will be applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, waterproof or restore surface, and perform other duties as requested.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves outdoor work in a team-oriented environment with a crew size of 5-6. Applicants should be prepared for physical labor in various weather conditions.
