JOB S U MMA R Y:
Und e r g e n e r a l d ir ec t i on, a s a Flaking Mill Service Technician, you are responsible for working with the CPM Americas Aftermarket Sales Director, and other colleagues to develop and execute a flaking mill roll grinding field service in North America.
The focus is to both affirm our market presence within the existing customer base and grow our business in the region. The newly created flaking mill roll grinding service requires development and updating of safety protocols, standard operating procedures, internal training instructions, with a scalable approach.
The Flaking Mill Service technician will travel to customer facilities to physically grind flaking rolls in a two-person crew, and conduct equipment diagnostic audits simultaneously. A focus is on improving customer operations, standardizing processes, increasing efficiency, growing aftermarket sales, and ensuring CPM’s customers are served in a timely, professional manner.

ESSEN T IAL D UTIES AND R E SPO N SIBI L ITIES:
Develop & execute a flaking mill roll grinding field service
Develop and or update safety protocols
Create standard operating procedures
Build internal training instructions
Assist with training internal CPM service employees in flaking mill grinding practices & procedures
Update flaking mill equipment diagnostics & audit checklists
Physically grind flaking mill rolls in customer facilities
Responsible for personnel management to maintain a strong team and culture
Assist the Americas Aftermarket Sales Director or Field Service team with field service projects, sales opportunities, travel, strategy, and programs
Understand CPM equipment to troubleshoot customer solutions
Build relationships with customers and sales representatives
Create & achieve aftermarket budget, forecast, and goals for increasing CPM revenue & market share
Prepare field reports after customer visits and distribute to the appropriate personnel
Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases
Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives
Assist with the development of customer equipment and service agreements and ensure compliance with all such agreements
Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM’s products and solutions
Reports to management and colleagues t regarding market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry
Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met

QUALI F ICAT I ONS A ND SKI L LS:
Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness for hands on work
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to speak in public and to multiple levels within customer organizations
Results driven? with the ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure.
Experience creating standard operating procedures, employee training documents, or safety protocols
Strong attention to detail
Effective at problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Previous experience managing, leading, and developing talent in a team environment is a plus
Experience successfully managing multiple accounts simultaneously, collaboration and working successfully with multiple departments
Entrepreneurial spirit and approach
Business travel (up to 75%)
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ y ea rs O p e r a t i ons, maintenance, or machining e xp e r i e n c e wi t hin t he F ood/A g ri c ul t ure/Bioenergy c omp l e x.
Experience supporting technical solutions, preferably within the oilseed, animal feed, biomass, food, or materials processing industries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
