We are looking for a Regional Marketing and Communications Associate to Own It by implementing regional initiatives. This position requires project management discipline, teamwork, initiative and commitment. The candidate will work independently, should be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing situations. The candidate should also demonstrate an ability to think creatively and proactively in order to identify and propose new solutions and ideas. This position requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills. The Regional Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for the essential functions below, which will positively impact MercyOne's five Key Results (Consumer Experience, Team Engagement, Quality, Financial Performance and Ambulatory Growth). What You'll Do: * Work closely and collaboratively to ensure successful local communications activations * Share internal messages within local channels (digital and in-person) to ensure awareness and drive engagement and two-way conversation among colleagues and clinicians * Use templates to prepare materials including flyers, signs, screensavers, etc. which meet brand standards. * Capture photo, audio and video content for use across marketing and communications channels * Maintain local communication channels including intranet, electronic boards/screensavers, bulletin boards, signage and more * Coordinate regional events and special projects, both internal and external, such as celebrations, colleague forums, community lunch and learns, advocacy visits, conferences, fundraisers, etc. * Coordinates information gathering to update public facing materials, including the website and patient portals. With the support of the system web team, program regional home page and key landing pages to best represent the region and achieve the region's goals. * Monitor social media for local responses and craft local content in collaboration with social media specialists and system-wide best practices * Fulfill department needs, including hospital signage, business cards, appointment cards, prescription pads, phonebook listings and more. * Measure and improve the effectiveness of messaging, channels and practices. * Demonstrates commitment to customer service, including responsiveness and follow-through. * Partner with colleagues and providers to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations and promote regional messages through all channels * Live by our Mission, Values and Cultural Beliefs and showcase these MercyOne foundations in your daily work * Collaborates with and strengthens marketing and communications colleagues across MercyOne. Able to provide a clear point of view; supports recommendations with relevant data. * A good creative eye; effective evaluation and execution of marketing messages and visual design. * Excellent interpersonal skills, highly collaborative with service-minded orientation. * Flexible, and comfortable adapting to changing priorities and circumstances. * Proven hand on experience in marketing or communications. Experience with innovative channels a plus. * Strong copywriting and editing skills, including rewriting, optimizing, and editing content from subject matter experts * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Suite, etc.) * Experience with Agile marketing and project management tools a plus * Experience using HTML and CMS management; Drupal a plus but not required. * Familiarity with Google Analytics * Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing programs (e.g., Salesforce) * Bachelor's degree required plus 1-3 years of hands-on marketing and/or communications experience.
