Robert Half is in search of a qualified Systems Administrator for a direct hire position with a reputable client in the state of Iowa. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and monitoring IT systems. Being the second line of support for end users, you will be an integral part of our tech team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, SAN/NAS, patch management, and backup software administration.

  • Regular updates on helpdesk status for support and project cases.

  • Create service experiences that ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Perform daily administration and troubleshooting of our corporate email system and maintain servers with specialized functions.

  • Ensure successful backups of all systems and their offsite transfers, ensuring recovery points and time are within acceptable limits.

  • Collaborate with the Systems Architect for file storage systems administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience with a minimum of 8+ years.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in an IT-related field with direct experience in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

  • At least 3+ years experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, VMWare, and dedicated server experience
