Trinity Health Weight Room Monitor - Waterloo Wellness Center - PRN in Waterloo, Iowa

Position Purpose:

Provides Wellness Center support through monitoring of weight room, new member orientations, customer service, facility maintenance and assisting at front desk.

What you will Do:

  • Monitors membership sign-in log to assure active memberships.

  • Monitors for safe use of equipment and intervenes and educates as necessary.

  • Completes orientation packets.

  • Answers telephones, answers questions, and directs concerns.

  • Cleans wood flooring, clean and organizes hand weights, mats and steps, and monitors linens and assures sufficient supplies available for members.

  • Adheres to all safety, infection control, and employee health policies and procedures.

Hours/Schedule:

.001 FTE; PRN/registry; will require some weekends; flexible schedule options available.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff, and physicians while performing their job duties.

  • Experience using weight and cardiovascular equipment.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

  • Ability to convey a positive image and build positive relationships with others.

  • BLS, & Mandatory Reporter.
