Position Criteria:
- High School Diploma, preferred
- Custodial Experience: 0-2 years required, 3-5 years preferred
PerformanceCriteria:
- Cleaningto include vacuuming floors, cleaning desk/table tops, emptying trash and recycling, cleaning sinks andwindows, sweeping and wet mopping tile floors, lifting and moving lunch tables daily.
- Clean restrooms
- Operate a variety of equipment (vacuums, scrubber, etc)
- Perform regular routine maintenance such as fixing lockers and changing batteries and lightbulbs
- Perform preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment as scheduled
- Perform deep cleaning
- Enter work orders as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
*Physical Demands:* The custodian physical job demands include: Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from waist to above shoulder; Occasional maximum lift of 50 lbs from floor to waist; frequent maximum lift of 30 lbs from floor to shoulder; frequent carry of 50 lbs 10 feet; occasional maximum horizontal push/pull of 20 lbs; occasional maximum vertical pull of 25 lbs; frequent maximum grip of 20 lbs; frequent climb to 8 inches; occasional overhead reach; occasional trunk rotation; frequent reach forward to 24 inches; frequent bending; frequent standing; frequent walking;frequent balance. PDC Level: Heavy based on maximum floor to shoulder lift.
Background check completion and pre-employment physical required prior to employment
