Are You Looking to Make A Difference?LSI has an exciting opportunity for a full-timeiOvernightiMilieu Specialistifor our Bremwood Residential Campus in Waverly.DUTIESThe Milieu Specialist is responsible for providing a safe, positive, therapeutic living environment to residents through independent judgment and discretion to achieve resident treatment success. Serves as a professional member of the therapeutic treatment team serving the needs of the children entrusted to the care of LSI.In addition to these responsibilities, the Milieu Specialist will complete staff scheduling, attend staffing meetings with families, therapists, psychiatrist, and co-facilitate team meetings.The Milieu Specialist will work directly with clients on-floor and will serve as a role model in how to maintain the milieu through training, coaching, and mentoring other direct care staff. The Milieu Specialist will manage and oversee a variety of documentation which may include but not be limited to daily logs, incident reports, progress notes and documentation required to maintain licensing standards.Must be able to work evenings and day shifts. Must be flexible with schedule. Scheduling skills preferred, as well as having the ability to run a floor in residential, be professional and coachable under all leadership.QUALIFICATIONSiBachelor's degree in social sciences field; OR Bachelor's degree in non-social science field plus 30 hours child mental health training; OR Associate's of Arts degree in social sciences field plus one (1) year full-time, work-related experience in child mental health services and actively, continuously obtaining a degree with a completion date within two years of hire; OR High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of five (5) years of child mental health service experience and actively, continuously obtaining a degree with a completion date within two years of hire. Experience must be related to residential treatment, PMIC or shelter setting that serves youth with behavioral health challenges.This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.LSI offers a competitive salary and benefit package including paid time off, health, dental, life, and vision insurance, and 401(k).It's their life.
