Function: To operate the palletizers and related equipment in order to palletize and properly ticket finished case goods.

Responsible for the palletizing of finished case goods through the palletizer system.

Responsible for identifying full skids of product, properly ticket each skid and communicate with lift truck driver.

Employee shall follow Waverly safety objectives & targets, follow the plant safety rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the Safety Management System on all safety related procedures and programs.

This position will adhere to the Nestlé USA Waverly Environmental Policy, the Pollution Prevention Plan, and the Annual Environmental Objectives & Targets. The position will support the continual improvement of energy conservation, solid waste minimization and management, and prevention of pollution within the scope of the position and throughout the plant.

Responsible for Auto Labeler ticket system, palletizers, case conveyors and stretch wrapper.

Wear proper sanitation equipment required by GMP and hearing protection if needed.

Duties:

  1. Startup, shutdown and changeover palletizers as needed according to packaging schedules.

  2. Accurately enter information into the SAP computer system to print tickets for each pallet of finished case goods and maintain the Auto Labeling device.

  3. Operate palletizers and unjam when there is equipment failure (including AGV’s) and notify caser operators if shutdown is required.

  4. Inform maintenance, warehouse, and packaging supervisors of any problems with equipment operation or finished case good quality.

  5. Keep area clean and perform duties in safe manner.

  6. Other duties as specified by supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired.

Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.

Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.

Willing and able to work overtime.

Willing and able to work various shifts.

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

**This is a 3rd shift position: 12 am-8 am

Pay $26.95/hr
