If you're looking for a way to make a positive change in your community, LSI is looking for you. Lutheran Services in Iowa seeks a full-time Service Coordinator to lead our Supervised Apartment Living (SALs) Services team in Waverly, Iowa.

DUTIES The SALs Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all Supervised Apartment Living (SALs) services on the Bremwood campus. This position completes hiring, training, supervising, directing, evaluating, coaching and mentoring employees to ensure the delivery of SALs services meets performance-based outcomes of contract, funder, and/or accrediting agency. The Service Coordinator is responsible for program compliance and for ensuring the Supervised Apartment Living quarters are a safe, positive, therapeutic living environment for residents of the SALs community to ensure their abilities to live independently. This position acts as the primary agency leadership representative to build community relationships, to promote services, funding opportunities and define and create new services to meet existing community needs. Additionally the Service Coordinator manages assigned property and programs in a fiscally responsible manner and assists in agency fund-raising efforts. QUALIFICATIONS Qualified applicants will have a bachelor's degree in health or human service related field with a minimum of four years of related experience, with 3 of those providing supervision. Preferred applicants will have a masters degree in related field. Additionally, applicants should have demonstrated skills in writing, speaking and presenting in front of groups, listening, and problem solving, as well as in interpersonal skills for relating to diverse individuals. This includes being willing to accept speaking engagements outside normal agency hours. This position requires a valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
