Function:
The cleaning and inspection of tote bins and pallets; and other duties connected with this operation.
Duties:
Haul dirty totes to tote wash room
Vacuum tote prior to washing.
Operate in a safe and responsible manner the automatic tote wash.
Inspect all totes for cleanliness and damage.
Haul clean totes to warehouse.
Record on log number of totes washed and inspected. Mark totes washed by date.
Record cleaned tote into MES/SAP
Hand wash tote accessories, brushes, and other (latches, doors, lids and gaskets) hand cleaning equipment.
Charge solution tanks.
Inspection of lift truck daily.
Perform as required regular and scheduled cleanup of equipment and work area.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous lift truck certification and experience highly desired.
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
Willing and able to stand on a frequent basis.
Willing and able to work overtime.
Willing and able to work various shifts.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
**This is a 3rd shift position (12 am-8 am) with overtime rotated
Pay $26.95/hr
$1000 sign on bonus after probation
