Job description
Webster City Custom Meats, Inc., a division of Midwest Quality Wholesale, is seeking a Electrical Maintenance Technician. This position will be based in our home office/production facility in Webster City, IA.
Job Details:
Electrical Maintenance Technicians are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining equipment throughout the facility, along with troubleshooting and replacing machinery, maintaining electrical and electronic systems, and maintaining accurate records of work completed.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshoot, inspect, replace, repair and install equipment including but not limited to: production equipment and machinery, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, electronic systems, compressors, motors, engines
Complete all job functions in a safe and efficient manner
Responsible for equipment lock out/tag out procedures when mandated by company policy
Follow all food safety practices while in production areas
Follow employee safety practices at all times
Interact daily with plant operations and office support staff
Maintain accurate records/documentation of work completed
Participate in rotating maintenance plant check schedule
Assist with general facility repairs and installs
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
plc: 1 year (Preferred)
industrial mechanical: 1 year (Preferred)
electrical: 1 year (Preferred)
installation: 1 year (Preferred)
vfd: 1 year (Preferred)
High School or equivalent (Required)
