The AGWSR Community School District

has the following positions open

School Counselor

(2024-2025 School Year)-

Duties will include:

1. The position will have a primary office located in the Wellsburg building.
2. Work will students in grade K-2 grade and 6th-8th grade.
3. Being a valued member of the District Wide Student Success Team.
4. Management and delivery of School Counseling Program
5. Meeting with students whose names appear on the low grade list for each marking period and, if appropriate, helping formulate a plan of action for success involving the student and the parent
6. Working with students who have discipline, attendance and academic problems and are referred by teachers, parents or administrators
7. Organizing and promoting standardized assessment opportunities and interpreting test results to students and/or parents on request
8. Assuring that appropriate, accurate information is maintained in each student's permanent, cumulative record
9. Other duties as assigned.

K-12 School Counselor Licensure or the ability to obtain conditional licensure and complete the requirements for licensure.
