Job Description:
The Clinical Dietitian will assess patients for nutritional risk working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy compatible with patient goals and objectives.
Plans therapeutic diets as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with regulatory agencies.
Participates and counsels in inpatient and outpatient settings and community health programs as well as educates staff, review and update menus and nutrition education materials, and maintain quality assurance standards.
The dietitian will conduct nutrition education programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
BA or BS in Nutrition or related field
Licensed Dietitian in Iowa
PREFERRED
One (1) to three (3) years of related experience preferred
MS Office preferred
