Robert Half is collaborating with a reputable organization to recruit an Accounts Receivable Clerk for their team in West Des Moines. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will chiefly be tasked with monitoring and settling unresolved payment problems and producing weekly aging reports. This position requires adaptability, robust problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors all invoices and payments to ensure timely receipt of funds.

• Processes and analyzes account adjustments, rectifying client variances, and partial payments.

• Resolves billing inconsistencies and issues in collaboration with relevant departments.

• Conducts detailed account research and investigation as needed.

• Prepares age analysis reports and works with the Accounts Receivable Manager to review ongoing accounts.

• Manages and updates customer records, including changes in name or address, consolidations, or mailing attentions.

• Performs other allocated tasks and duties deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the Accounts Receivable Department.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields is preferred but not required.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience doing Accounts Receivable.

• Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
