As an Area Supervisor 4, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of client facilities assigned to you. You will provide support to the area office and site supervisors, and ensure contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to the area as well as ensuring appropriate staffing. We offer entry level careers, management careers, sales careers and executive careers across the United States and internationally.Specific Duties and Essential FunctionsProvide supervision to other Area Supervisors, Site Supervisors, and security officers with no on-site supervision on a 24-hour basis.Oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers. May directly supervise security officers.Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.Maintain overtime to a preset requirement designated by G4S.Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting and auditing each facility assigned to his/her area.Participate and make recommendations in selection and placement of security personnel to contracts in his/her area. Participate and make recommendations in progressive discipline and conduct performance appraisals of the same.Perform other operations related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, issue uniforms, coordinate fleet vehicles, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders).Education, Licenses and Certifications RequiredMust possess a high school diploma or equivalentType and Length of Specific Experience RequiredWhile not required, prior law enforcement, corrections, military police, Criminal Justice degree, or retired military is a plus!Skills RequiredProficient computer skills including Microsoft OfficeEffective oral and written communication skillsActive listening skillsAbility to assess and evaluate situations effectivelyAbility to identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyAttention to detailOtherMust be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by stateMust be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United StatesMust not use illegal drugs.
