Since then, our work has expanded across various sectors and industries, where we help our customers stay ahead of the new and make the world in which we live, better.ResponsibilitiesThe Cloud Systems Engineer will help design system architectures for new or existing infrastructure related projects. Candidate will support for full range of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud administration, configuration, and maintenance. Create and implement solutions for complex system implementations.Perform cloud administrative and IT operational tasks.Configure and manages AWS environments to meet business owner needs.Implements tools and automation for AWS infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, diagnostics, and scaling.Automate tasks and operations utilizing scripting languages such as Python.Create Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) resources such as subnets, network access control lists, and security groups.Document, deploy, and validate multi environment cloud based infrastructure.Develop and implement integration strategies between cloud and on premise based infrastructures.Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.Use Amazon CloudWatch metrics to monitor the health and utilization of AWS resources.Work with Redhat and Windows operating systems as well as clustered filesystems, networking, SAN and backup technologies, and management of environments with large amounts of data.Create and manage IAM users, groups and access policies.Upgrade operating systems and perform systems enhancements.Develop and implement tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.Communicates with leadership on status of projects.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.Participates in special projects as required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field required3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise level IT projects Cloud based technologies (PaaS, IaaS, and Cloud Infrastructure Services).Experience with building dynamic infrastructure within AWS or Azure.Experience with issues facing large scale server environments.Strong interpersonal and team building skillsAttention to detail, quick learner, have a positive attitude, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust possess excellent critical thinking skills, reading and interpretation, writing, and communication skillsTechnical Cloud Storage solutions in AWS or AzureResidency RequirementMust have lived in the United States at least 3 out of 5 years.FLSA StatusExemptInterpersonal SkillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writingShould be extremely facts and data oriented.Should be deadline and closure oriented.Strong persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills.Should be self-driven.Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.NewWave is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
