The Controller plans and directs all accounting operational functions, handles the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for financial statements, evaluates accounting and internal control systems, and leads departmental staff. Your responsibilities - Research, prepare and execute Finance Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable and receivables - Check deliverables of self and team to certify they meet expectations - Each month, present financial reports - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful firm-wide operation - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Manage the production of the yearly budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities
