Position: Documentation SpecialistLocation:West Des Moines, IAJob Id: 2836# of Openings: 1Documentation SpecialistAs aDocumentation Specialistyou will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and presenting technical and non-technical documentation for the Qualitrac suite of products. Youwill provide subject matter expertise and support in the analysis of the data, and in the design and development of products or services to support contract deliverables. In addition, you will perform leadership responsibilities as delegated by the lead or Manager.What You'll Do:You will serveas subject matter expert to internal and external customers. You will utilize knowledge and expertise to research and resolve issues in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction. You will provide direction to internal team.You will provideinput based on subject, program and product knowledge to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements. You will complete tasks and deliverables on time. You will provide input to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements based on program and product knowledge. You will provide subject matter expertise to align program requirements with product requirements.You will create, update, and review documentation and provide input for clarification and detail, ensuring information is accurate, thorough, and follows established processes and compliance requirements (i.e. 508 compliance standards). You will identify where additional information is needed, and the most effective mode of creating and communicating that information.You will collaborateand coordinate with project leads and initiate project processes. You will provide product/project level validation to identify issues and recommend changes if needed. You will troubleshoot identified issues based on program knowledge and subject matter expertise. You will complete tasks and deliverables on time.You will create, review, and/or present training materials. You will make recommendations for new training material or for enhancements based upon program or product knowledge and expertise. You will coordinate and facilitate live or recorded training sessions. You will perform knowledge-sharing presentations to internal and external customers.You will assistwith client needs analysis and assessment. You will assist with management of client expectations and relationships.What You'll Need:Four-year degree in business, health care, IT and/or equivalent training or experience.3-5 years in related field.Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality improvement, healthcare information management and/or healthcare information technology (HIT).Ability to work with technical and non-technical subject matter experts to translate their processes and workflows into written materials and documents.Advanced skills related to Visio workflow diagrams, technical architecture documents, MS Office products.Experience developing UML Use-Case, Business Process, Sequence Diagrams, Class, ERD modeling.Experience creating technical documents including but not limited to System Design Document (SDD) Interface Design Document (IDD), Technical Infrastructure Document (TID).Experience creating User Guides and Training documents.Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship.Up to 10% local and overnight travel.Who We Are:Telligen is one of the most respected population health management organizations in the country.
