About the Role

As a CBRE DOT Compliance Program Manager, you will manage DOT programs including clearinghouse drug testing, regulatory agency filings, and the IRP Program. The ideal candidate will have a background in DOT, FMCSA, and IRP Program knowledge to keep the organization's transportation fleet up to regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain all federal, state, and local DOT/FMCSA regulatory filings for CBRE North America, with a heavy emphasis on California requirements.

  • Manage CBRE’s clearinghouse drug testing program, IRP Program, and all DOT-related tasks.

  • Manage sensitive information for drivers of regulated vehicles including support of vehicles, fuel cards, telematics, and DOT-regulated drivers.

  • Communicate with federal and state government agencies and file required documents.

  • Conduct all tasks associated with DOT driver qualification, training files, and government updates and filings.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Oversee cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.

  • Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs. Work with core teams to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.

  • Comprehend, evaluate, and interpret business documents.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing DOT regulations and permits for a transportation fleet.

  • Experience managing a drug screening clearinghouse for DOT fleet requirements.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
