Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

This role is a Lead Consultant helping to support the Capital Markets area, Portfolio Lending and the Correspondent Lending Sales Channel in particular. The Lead Consultant acts as a key Strategic Partner with line of business leadership providing deep financial analysis to ensure strategies align with organization's objectives which include risk mitigation, profit optimization, and balance sheet management. Some of the primary responsibilities of this role are:

  • Lead the creation and presentation of monthly business review materials and financial analyses for executive leadership that summarize financial results and the impact of strategic initiatives in a consumable manner

  • Monitor, manage, analyze, and report metrics to drive operational and performance excellence

  • Develop weekly and/or monthly dashboards and provide strategic direction around key metrics, leading review discussions of trend analysis and forecast assumptions, and how those tie into strategic initiatives

  • Provide proactive expense management support to drive expense control and responsible spending

  • Lead portions of or overall forecasting processes for Portfolio Lending and Correspondent, providing guidance to the collective team contributors to ensure seamless submission of the forecast, as well as appropriate visibility of the forecast to senior finance leadership and senior line of business leadership

  • Consult on forecast output/calibrations with revenue COE and model governance, and act as balance sheet subject matter expert for portfolio lending

  • Ensure models and tools adhere to model governance, and assist in challenge and validation processes

  • Act as Sponsor and active contributor on Finance and Business Projects across a wide range of topics as they relate to Portfolio Lending and Correspondent Lending

  • Data, reporting, and analytics subject matter expert for business partners throughout WFHM, including Risk, Project Management, Audit, Compensation, and Human Resources

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting

  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
