Description We are seeking a Data Engineer based in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in financial accounting, financial reporting, and data analytics. You will be responsible for designing data reporting and analysis tools, building metrics to support business cases, and interacting with diverse stakeholders on complex projects. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accumulate over 5 years of experience in Financial Accounting or Financial Reporting and Data Analytics.

• Gain proficiency in designing data reporting and analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.

• Develop experience in building metrics to support business cases.

• Adapt rapidly in a fast moving environment and react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently to shifting priorities.

• Interact with a diverse set of technical and non technical stakeholders on highly complex projects.

• Acquire skills in AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Microsoft Power BI, Power BI, Tableau, Data reporting, Business case development, Business process improvement. Requirements • Proficient in AWS Technologies

• Demonstrable skills in Business Intelligence (BI)

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI

• Familiarity with Power BI

• Proficiency in Tableau

• Strong skills in data reporting

• Experience in business case development

• Proven record in business process improvement

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
