Aston Carter Finance Systems Consultant in West Des Moines, Iowa

Collaborate with Finance business to ensure proposed process and technology solutions meet current and future needs:

Research Finance related issues and utilize business improvement knowledge to improve processes and data

Use Finance and Accounting technical expertise to drive near term resolution and drive long term improvements to align with strategic vision

Research issues that arise, and participate in developing solutions

Work closely with Information Technology teams to deliver business value:

Independently manage assigned priorities, deliverables, and timelines, identifying issues for escalation as needed

Serve as liaison between IT and business users to ensure deadlines are met and business builds meeting business needs

Provide business support by executing or assisting with project activities:

Perform data clean up, research issues that arise from pain points, defects, requirements, etc.

Influence change / change management by modeling behavior and leading training development

Skills & Qualifications:

BA in Finance or Accounting

5+ years of experience in Financial Accounting or Financial Reporting and Data Analytics

Experience preferred in designing data reporting and analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx

Experience building metrics to support business cases
