Aston Carter Financial Controls Analyst in West Des Moines, Iowa

  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Financial Controls and contribute to large-scale planning related to Financial Controls deliverables

  • Review and analyze moderately complex Financial Controls challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Financial Controls deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with Client personnel in Financial Controls

  • Perform financial reviews

  • They issue written risk ratings with a detail overview of a breakdown of the statement and then get an overall picture with the suppliers

  • Team needs someone to step in and have a solid understanding of financial statements and reviews

  • This person will help with admin pieces for the analysts on the team as well

  • They will go in and look at services requests from the supplier community

  • Someone that can go through and review the requests, looking at the documentation provided and doing a quick overview that makes sure it meets the minimum requirements

  • Provide guidance on what next steps are needed to the requesters

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education

  • CPA would be nice to have

  • Proficient in MS excel and work

  • Team works with a broad range of industries so specific industry experience is not required
