Learning Consultant Senior, Sales (PBM)
IngenioRx is a new type of pharmacy benefits manager (PBM). Not defined by legacy models of what a PBM should be, we're building an authentic and active pharmacy care model - one that is future-focused and deeply ingrained in our members' care journey. We are currently recruiting for a Learning Consultant Senior to support our Sales and Account Management teams.
The purpose of this position is to positively impact performance and business results through strategic consulting and partnership that relates sales training as a crucial component of successful business and growth strategy and goal accomplishment. The Learning Consultant Senior, Sales will be responsible for analyzing, selecting, implementing, and delivering learning & development solutions for business performance gaps based on business needs. This position will have ownership and lead IngenioRx Sales and Account Management training outcomes that directly support and enable business results through strategy, oversight of development/implementation of sales training and performance results and manage the partnership/collaboration with the Anthem Sales Training Team.
Primary duties to include but are not limited to:
Understands all aspects of the business and partners with IngenioRx Sales and Acct Management leadership to define sales training strategy and successful criteria for the future.
Internal client and partner relationship manager: build and maintain trusted advisor relationships
Central point and channel of communication between assigned relationships and Sales Training, serving as an efficient source of information and sharing as appropriate/needed
Engage directly in Strategic Planning Processes with assigned internal client groups and partners to design and align training solutions with business and growth strategy
Translates strategy into defined sales training tactics, programs/projects priorities and timelines, ensures alignment and attainment of sales training in support of enterprise strategic plans to turn strategy into reality through exceptional performance of the sales organization.
Partner and collaborate with the Anthem Sales Learning and Development team to ensure a coordinated training roll-out across both IngenioRx and Anthem Sales and Account Management teams.
Understands and documents strategic priorities and aligns sales training to support and enable strategic goals.
Builds and maintains business knowledge such as external environment and reports on customer insight research initiatives.
Builds and leverages relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
Conducts needs analysis and evaluates effectiveness of learning solutions.
Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment.
Responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and reporting on line of business planning and sales training project activities/milestones, status and outcomes.
Accountable for measurement of business impact of key development solutions including reporting and communication of results
Accountable for reporting results and developing executive summaries at key intervals and at conclusion of sales training/program initiatives.
Facilitates high stakes/high visibility training as needed.
Requires BA/BS degree in business, education, instructional design, or other learning discipline; 7 years of experience, including 5 or more years of training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Master’s degree preferred.
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) is strongly preferred, with Health Plan Sales training background considered
Experience with coaching and/or mentoring is a plus.
Strong facilitation experience required (delivering training around: onboarding, presentation skills, sales skills, product & services, and tools & technology is highly desired)
Must have experience with virtual training delivery and virtual training platforms
