The Procedure Writer/Publisher 2 is part of Home Lending’s Product Strategy and Delivery Group and will support the Servicing Line of Business.
The Procedure Writer/Publisher 2:
• Works closely with internal customers to write new or update current procedures and policies.
• Manages a pipeline of work with strict due date guidelines.
• Adheres to production expectation while also maintaining a high level of quality
• Responsible for identifying areas of risk through gap analysis
Exceptional writing skills are necessary for this role.
Preferred location for the role is either West Des Moines, IA; or San Antonio, TX. Other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint may be considered.
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule:

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $51,100 Mid: $71,000 Max: $90,900
TX-San Antonio: Min: $51,100 Mid: $71,000 Max: $90,900

- 3+ years of procedure writing experience, business process improvement experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience
Experience researching, developing, writing, and editing operational procedures and documents
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Experience meeting high production and quality standards
Ability to identify inefficiencies, opportunities to streamline business processes, and implement change
Ability to manage a pipeline of work from assignment to completion
Experience applying Wells Fargo Style Guide and brand standards
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
